What to do with your šŸ“šŸ’©

There has been multiple occasions where pens at our awesome campgrounds of oklahoma have been left in a very upsetting condition. It should always be the courteous manner to do something with your manure piles rather you scatter it in the woods, bag it, or put it in the manure pile if one is given. Should also be common sense to look at the rules posted on the boards but sometimes rules are outdated or unreadable due to fading of weather etc but it is simple to also just ask....

However with all of that said, one thing that should come no matter the rules is to leave the camp spot cleaner than when you found it. These camp spots we are lucky to have in the first place. Rather they be state parks, private owned trail systems or the small lakes around that have had the great volunteers that dedicated their time and hard work into building/maintaining the trails so we have a place to ride and enjoy ourselves.

With this statement to follow- I will be adding per page of each trail system, the rules on what to do with your manure.

Let's do better guys. You don't or I at least hope you don't leave your stalls/pens at home in that type of mess, so why would it be okay to leave it a disaster for someone else? Their horses, just like yours, are ready to get out of the trailer when they arrive at camp, so it is better to not have to spend 30 minutes or more cleaning up a pen before you can even back your rig into your spot because someone prior left it a mess.

anyway- I hope everyone can learn from this as well as do better by this before more rules, fees, extra costs to everyone goes into affect or that our trail systems even get shut down due to it. It sadly only takes one person to ruin it for all.

Happy Trails!
