Boston Mountain Horse Camp

  • over 200 miles of trails, and in easy reach of the camp are the Ozark Highlands Trail and the Buffalo River trail.

  • This is a BYOH (bring your own horse) camp 

  • Use Apple Maps or call for Directions- They said that google will get you lost.

  • Effective 1/01/2022: campsites are $30/night, stalls will remain $5/night and up to 2 stalls per site. Each additional stall will be $10/night 

  • Stalls are 10x10 and you need shavings. You can purchase them there at $8 a bag or bring your own. Clean your stalls daily, Stalls are indoors

  • Due to State requirements all equine must have current health Certificates when traveling, even ones within the state - 6/30/2020

  • Shoes are needed, this is in the mountains, it is very rocky​​

NEW RULES AS OF JULY 1, 2022

  1. All stalls must be bedded with Pine Pellet Bedding or shavings before horse is placed in stall. You may bring your own or buy from us $8 a bag

  2. When leaving, all water buckets must be dumped outside of the barn, not in the stall.

  3. Please scrape stalls clean of any and all bedding and manure

  4. When making reservations, please mail your deposit within in 2 weeks of making your reservation, otherwise you will need to call and make the reservations again. Deposits are $50. Holiday weekend deposits are the full amount of the stay.

  5. Please pick up your dog poop on the grass and in the barn and put in the manure pile behind the barn.

  6. Check in time is at 2pm to 9pm. Please make arrangements if before or after those times. 

  7. Check out time is at 11am. If you decide to stay after that time you will be charged for the next day unless you unhook and move to the day rider parking.

  8. Campsites include water and a 30 amp electrical hookup. it Costs $30 a night for up to 2 people. After than an additional $10 per person will be charged. 

  9. Primitive camping will be charged $15 per night

  10. Stalls are $5 per horse per night. A tie out fee will be charged of $5 per night per horse for those tied out in camp or in outside portable corrals or pens.

  11. All dogs must be on a leash in camp.
