This is one of my favorite weekend getaway places to camp. I have camped here twice so far and while our second trip was ruined by the weather and then turning out my horse ended up being sore, it was a trip… but that’s where memories are made. I for sure will be back. I like this place because it is close to me, barefoot friendly and has a lot of miles to ride so you can easily camp for a while. It’s a great place for colts because the trails, even what they consider as advanced, are beginner enough compared to what I ride, so it’s my go to place to put some miles on the youngsters. Nice clean bath house, though you have to drive to it. Campground is beautiful but I wish they would put sand around the poles so when it does rain, its not a mud pit.
