Happy New Year!

Happy New Year yall!! It also has been 1 whole year since Buckskin Trail Blogs as been a thing and I am so thankful for all who has joined me on this journey!!

Here are a couple new things to add!!

Horse riding apps! I typically use an app called "Equilab" to track my rides. This app helps me keep track of my mileage and to keep track of how my horse is performing in their gaits. However, the only complaint that I have with it, is that it has deleted some of my rides that I have screenshots of here on this website. It shows that all together that I have ridden 527 miles and I have been using this app since 2019 lol so the accuracy of my mileage is not adequate. However, I found a solution to it. I looked into other apps and found one called "Horse Riding' ( I have an iphone so i am not sure if this app is available to those who have an android phone) but the icon is a horseshoe with a grey background. It is very similar to Equilab in its user friendly access. Which I love. You also can add a ride if you forgot to track it before had! I have not used that part of the app yet but I do think it is a cool addition. Lets get those miles this year!!

In addition to this, I have added a new place that is brand new to all of us for riding!! This place is called Haven at Box Canyon! It is located in Hinton Oklahoma, which is in Western Oklahoma just passed El Reno OK on i-40 taking exit 104 and hanging south down S Methodist Rd. It is only an hour and 45 min from my house and so im gonna have to go day ride there soon!!
